Friday, June 3 2022, 1pm Saturday, June 4 2022, 9am Peabody Hall Georgia Philosophical Society website The Department of Philosophy hosts the Spring 2022 Georgia Philosophical Society Conference on Friday and Saturday June 3 & 4 at Peabody Hall. Friday afternoon is the undergraduate program featuring six talks from students representing Georgia Southern University and Georgia College as well as an invited talk on "The Epistemic Risks of 'Doing Your Own Research' from UGA Associate Professor Dr. Sarah Wright. Saturday's program features three sessions spanning morning and afternoon featuring twenty-one talks, including the Presidential Address from UGA Department of Philosophy head Aaron Meskin on “The Aesthetics of Pubs, Bars and Cafes.”
