Why Study Ethics?

Beginning in fall 2027, UGA requires all undergraduates, regardless of major, to complete a 3-credit course in ethical reasoning. To support this new requirement, the Philosophy Department has undertaken several initiatives including working with Franklin College to create an Ethics Hub and starting an Ethics Lab.
