Thursday, May 14 2020, 2pm online via Zoom Special Information: *UGA GRADUATION CEREMONIES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS The Department of Philosophy is holding an online graduation ceremony to celebrate our amazing majors who are moving on this summer, as well as the year's award winners. Please enjoy this opportunity to come together to chat with your teachers and fellow students as we say congratulations, farewell, and bid good luck to our newest Department of Philosophy graduates! We'll offer special congratulations to this year's scholarship and award winners including: Frank Harrison III scholarship winner Marc Biemiller, Daniel S. Hart Memorial Scholarship winner Joshua Williams; and Horace B. Russell Prize awardee Stephanie Ganzeveld; as well as Spencer Caro and Sydney Lanyon, winners of the Severens Scholarship, which was awarded in Fall 2019. This event takes place via Zoom on Thursday, May 14 at 2 p.m.--students will receive an invitation & login instructions from Department Head Aaron Meskin via email.
