The University of Georgia Chapter of Phi Sigma Tau is pleased to announce the Fourth Annual Philosophy Student Colloquium. The conference will be held at Peabody Hall, University of Georgia, Room 115 on Saturday, March 31st. (phone(706)-542-2823). The keynote speaker shall be Dr. Victoria Davion, PhD, Department Head of the University of Georgia Philosophy Department and Editor of Ethics and the Environment. Each paper presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

10:00-10:30- Dr. Victoria Davion, Keynote Speech

10:40-11:20- Mark Smith, “A Case Against Materialism”

11:30-12:10- Michael Long, “Loving Perception of the Gay “World””

12:10-1:30- Lunch Break

1:30-2:10- Doug Shepardson, “The Joy That Wants Eternity: Rejoice in the Predetermined Choice”

2:20-3:00- Joe Gerber, “The Presocratics”

3:10-3:50- Eva Imbsweiler “Praxis and Theory in Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics”

4:00-4:40- Kellan Lyman “Good Without God is Just 'O': God's Connection to the Good as a Solution to the Euthyphro Dilemma.”

5:00- Official Closing of the Conference
