Philosophy graduates, their families & friends, and faculty gathered recently to celebrate those participating in Fall 2025 commencement ceremonies. Dr. Gehad Abdelal and Professor Chris Cuomo Gehad Abdelal was awarded a PhD, her dissertation Islamic Feminism and the Politics of Gender: Between Liberation and Non-Western Neocolonial Domination under the direction of Professor Chris Cuomo. Dr. Abdelal is currently a visiting assistant professor of Philosophy at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Diana Orrego-Jimenez and Lillian Kirk Students receiving BA degrees in Philosophy include: Jeremiah Jones, Lillian Kirk, Diana Orrego-Jimenez, Zoe E. Schweitzer, and Kyle Smith.
