This is a two-day event, reception on Th 9/15 at Big City Bread Cafe.

The Department of Philosophy is excited to host a renowned chef and multiple interdisciplinary scholars for workshops on "Food, Philosophy and Art in the US and Mexico" on Thursday, September 15 and Friday September 16. Co-sponsored by the Office of Global Engagement, the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute, and the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, this event features Mexico City chef and scholar Juan Escanlona, as well as Paloma Atencia-LinaresMiguel Ángel Sebastián, and Sarah Bak-Geller Corona  from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and UGA Department of Philosophy head Aaron Meskin.
