Friday, September 17 2021, 4pm Peabody Hall, Room 205S Nils-Hennes Stear Philosophy Universit of Auburn Nils-Hennes Stear's website Dr. Nils-Hennes Stear of the University of Auburn, will be talking to philosophy graduate students about the job market, postdocs and grants on Friday, September 17 from 4 to 5:30pm in Peabody 205S. Dr. Nils-Hennes Stear is pursuing post doctoral studies in aesthetics at University of Auburn where he has recently been an instructor. Formerly a visiting Research Fellow at Uppsala Universitet and the University of Southampton, Stear was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow directing the Art & Ethics project at Southampton as well as a postdoctoral fellow at the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas at UNAM. He earned his PhD at the University of Michigan in 2016. Starting in 2022, he will be a Humboldt fellow at Universität Hamburg, where he will be completing a monograph under contract with Oxford University Press. He is Chair of the ASA’s Diversity Committee and Programme Chair for the ASA’s annual meeting in 2022.
